INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER (full time)

The Teacher's Assistant is responsible for helping the head teacher with creating a learning environment for the children. We believe that young children learn best through play and daily observation of others. This individual will also assist with daily living tasks, and will take over the class when the head teacher is absent. Skills in multitasking, positive reinforcement, and organization are desired.

Annual safety and child development classes are required with this position. Training is on-site. Position is full-time 30-40 hours, with benefits.



ASSISTANT TEACHER (full time)

This is a multi-dimensional position which includes assisting head teachers with implementing curriculum, nurturing and caring for children after the head teachers have left, and leading the classroom during lunch breaks.  This assistant teacher will float between classrooms and so will be trained to work with 6 weeks-5year olds.  Also required is light cleaning of the facility to help maintain a safe and healthy environment.  This position is for 35-40 hours per week with opportunity for growth.


SUBSTITUTE TEACHER (as needed)

A casual position where the person will cover a position for a teacher on vacation/sick leave.  The individual will likely be floating between various classrooms depending on what the teachers are needing.
