Substitute Teacher
As-Needed / On-CallWe are looking for reliable substitute teachers to fill in across our classrooms on an as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and wants a flexible schedule. Substitutes may work in any classroom from infants through school-age depending on the needs of the center. Pay is based upon education and experience.
Responsibilities
Step into any classroom and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
Follow the lead teacher's lesson plans and daily routines
Supervise children during all activities, meals, and outdoor play
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff and parents
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education coursework or CDA preferred
Previous experience working with young children is a plus
Must pass both BCI and FBI background checks
Must provide medical verification of ability to work with a group of children
