Current Openings

Lead Preschool Teacher

Full-Time (35–40 hrs/week)

We are currently hiring a Lead Preschool Teacher for a full-day classroom of 10–14 children ages 3½ to 4 years old. This full-time position comes with benefits and is ideal for a highly motivated individual dedicated to helping young children succeed in life by instilling a love of learning and making education fun and interesting. Teachers are provided with all resources needed for the classroom and given weekly prep time. Salary is based upon education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage 10–14 children in a warm, positive learning environment that makes education fun and interesting

  • Teach and support social/emotional skills, academic skills, and gross and fine motor development

  • Apply a full understanding of developmentally appropriate practice and lesson planning for children ages 3–5

  • Complete weekly lesson plans that incorporate goals and observations while following themes and children's interests

  • Perform developmental assessments three times per year to track progress and inform future goals and lesson plans

  • Maintain excellent communication with parents, coworkers, and children on a daily basis

  • Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; CDA or High School Diploma with preschool classroom experience may be considered

  • A combination of education and experience is preferred — the right candidate can pursue additional credentials after hiring

  • Must pass both BCI and FBI background checks

  • Must provide medical verification of ability to work with a group of children

  • Must provide proof of education
